Wadebridge School is a county co-educational comprehensive school that provides education mainly for the age range 11 to 19. The school was opened in April 1957 as a mixed secondary school of 450 pupils. The school provides opportunity for access by all pupils to a wide and varied sporting experience. The staff of the school provides a wide variety of opportunities for pupils to pursue interests outside lessons. There is a strong musical tradition in the school. Hockey, rugby, netball, soccer, athletics, cricket and basketball are only some of the sports and games in which competition with other schools regularly occurs. The school aims to provide a caring and stimulating environment for all students.
