Background:
Kehelland Village School is a community primary school, administered by Cornwall local education authority. It was founded in 1878 and is situated in the village of Kehelland, to the West of Camborne and largely accomodated in a Victorian building. Planning permission has been offered to provide a new library and ICT base along with replacing a temporary classroom in the main building. The school'site has recently been much improved to incorporate a large field with access across a new playground and school garden. The school's aim at Kehelland Village School is not to simply equip the pupils children for their future, but it also enables them to shape that world.
