Background:
Grampound-with-creed is an old Church of England school. It is situated next to the River Fal in the village of Grampound. Despite being a small school it offers many extra curricular activities including football, basketball, athletics, tag rugby and cross country. The school is in the midst of creating a purpose built sports and arts hall provided by funding from Sport England. It works closely with the village community and the local Church. It is a creative school that also offers craft and music clubs every term. Parents form a strong part of its team and the school is supported by a parent and friends association. It is a friendly, open and accepting school where children are treated as individuals and encouraged to achieve their full academic and social potential. Community, Church and citizenship form the focus and their approach.
