Background:
Stithians Community Primary School was founded in 1869, the school still occupies the original buildings which have been extensively modernised in 2003. ICT, the arts and science are particular subject strengths. The new ICT suite has broadband internet access, projectors and smartboards. There are a wide range of extra curricular activites and two residential visits are organised each year. Music plays an important role in school productions where the skills learnt in the classroom can be demonstrated. The school offers opportunities for all children to take part in PE and sport.
