The school aim is to provide a broad and balanced curriculum for all its pupils. The school boats some of the finest sports facilities in the southwest which including a floodlit Astroturf pitch, recently levelled and drained grass pitches, a large refurbished changing rooms, three outdoor basketball courts, six outdoor tennis courts, a gymnasium, a climbing wall and a specialist dance studio. The twilight zone is the time when its students take an active part in the wide choice of clubs and activities, after the school day. Students have the opportunity to improve their sports skills and art and craft techniques, develop powers of public speaking. The school has achieved Artsmark Gold Award,Sportsmark Gold. The school aims to provide a caring environment where young people develop and work as members of a community, recognising their present and future responsibilities.
