Background:
The Roseland School is situated on the outskirts of the pleasant village of Tregony, within a few miles of the coast and almost mid-way between Truro and St Austell. The school was opened in 1963 and was re-organised as a co-educational secondary comprehensive school in 1976. The school is particularly proud of its reputation as a friendly, well-disciplined school with many extra-curricular activities and excellent examination results. These activities include rugby, soccer, hockey and football. There are drama, dance, art and Young Enterprise groups after-school, as well as sailing and windsurfing in the lighter evenings. It also provided regular exchange visits with schools in France and Germany. The school aims to enable every child to reach his or her potential in a caring and supportive environment.
