Background:
Founded in 1796, the school recently moved to an 'excellent' modern building with 'very good' resources. The grounds are also 'excellent' with modern sports and environmental studies facilities. The school occupies a position at the heart of its rural community and is 'much prized' by the villages it serves. Staff, children and parents are 'justifiably proud' of the 'high standards of achievement and behaviour' in the school. New facilities 'continually build' on the school's success, notably for information and communications technology, music and art.
